It’s not easy to put into words the magnitude of an event that was the Protective Film Solutions Open House. Catch a tiny glimpse with the photos to follow…

I’m not talking about sheer size. Size is nothing without substance. The magnitude referred to here is the absolutely stunning array of hyper cars that adorned the show.

Update: We’ve published the post for PFS Open House 2018.

I’ve never been to Dubai or Abu Dhabi, but those are the initial thoughts that come to mind when seeing the fascinating collection of cars on display. In fact, just walking the show and shooting pictures, it’s nearly impossible to take them all in. For that reason, let’s look at a list of what was on display at the first Protective Film Solutions Open House.

You can all agree that is one impressive lineup! That is not all! These were just the hyper cars on display inside the shop and on the main lot. The list of supercars in the lot and all around the show is never-ending.

It’s about the people

The cars might have been the main attraction. However, there are three very important elements that cannot be ignored.

First, the team at PFS did an outstanding job at getting the shop ready for the event. You know that the main reason for this open house was to celebrate the new location. What happens when you move into a new house? Well, there is stuff EVERYWHERE. The crew at Protective Film Solutions pulled off a number of late nights and had that place looking like they had been there for years. Everything was clean and organized. The walls where covered in automotive photography art by Ted 7. Basically, it’s Ted 7’s gallery. The entire setup was flawless.

Then there were the show attendees. People came from all over to attend this exceptional car show. Who wouldn’t? Size aside, the caliber of this event in terms of quality is higher than anything ever seen on the West Coast barring Car Week in Monterey. For many, it was the best car show they have ever been to.

Finally, and most certainly not least, there is the cause. The main focus of the PFS Open House was for it to be a charity event to benefit the Tilly’s Life Center foundation. The turnout for the event was magnificent and the donations collected before and during the show will totally make a difference.
